Experience

I am a certified Spanish teacher and have taught students from 6th to 12th grades. I have since left the teaching profession, but I am still extremely passionate about both teaching and the Spanish language; I always strive to make my students equally as excited about Spanish. In addition, I am able to bring cultural perspectives to the language through my experiences living in Spain and traveling in Mexico. I also have extensive experience tailoring lessons to individual needs and creating engaging instruction. At the university level I am a member Spanish and Education honors societies. As a part of my Masters program, I took an exam called the Oral Proficiency Interview which qualifies me as an advanced speaker of the Spanish language. I also received high scores on the Spanish language and pedagogy Praxis exams.
